Chamber filter
presses are devices designed specifically
for dewatering any kinds of sludges.
For years, they have been used in suspension
and liquid filtration processes.
A number of presses have been in use
for many decades. They still have cast
iron, aluminium or other plates in them.
Manual hold-down clamps in smaller presses,
and obsolete pneumatic or hydraulic
hold-down clamps in bigger ones do not
meet the required standards.
When replacing a worn out machine by
a new one is beyond its user's resources,
OFTIM offers the following services:
- replacement of old plates by new polypropylene
(PP) plates
- replacement or refurbishment of existing
hydraulic systems (closing/ opening
of the press)
- modification or upgrade of control
systems
- selecting proper filter fabrics
- provision of a regular supply of filter
cloths
In each individual case, the scope of
upgrade works is to be agreed and tailored
to the user's needs and potential.
